THE STUDIO
ABOUT CASSIDY DUHON
I’m a San Francisco portrait and event photographer with a studio in SOMA who loves to find crafty ways to create imagery with both comfort and reaction.
I love the chance to help someone illustrate who they really are, because it’s hard to dismiss the charm of authenticity of a story told true. As long as that truth involves at least retouching their bangs a little bit.
I got a perfectly good BFA in photography, but no one cares. After college, I photographed society events in NYC for a truly strange company, but I’ve now been to Judge Judy’s house which honestly made it worth it. Since there were no better celebrities to meet in New York, I moved to DC to start my own company in 2010.
I really loved DC, but in 2025, I followed a lifelong dream of moving to San Francisco. Now here to stay for good in the Bay Area, my work runs the gamut from events, portraits, weddings, boudoir, and editorial photography.
Photography goes beyond the job and is the happening that brings continual focus to my life. Having now spent more years taking photos than not, I’m all in and will always love it.
